Over the summer holiday, members of the Youth Voice Family have been working collaboratively on a project called Our Oldham, based on the 5 Ways to Well-being, which are : Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give, with the final aim to raise money for the Charitable Fund Real Change.
The Youth Voice Family all went out and took photographs of the community, exploring the nooks and crannies of Oldham, capturing the hidden beautiful scenes. These photographs were then selected down, and displayed in a plethora of ways to create wonderful pieces to raise money for Real Change.
These pieces are currently displayed in Oldham Library, just outside Live @ The Library, for you to look at, and bid on! All money goes towards the Charitable Fund Real Change. It is a blind auction, running until the 14th September 2019.
Real Change is a charitable fund that aims to help homeless people, and those who are about to come homeless. People are able to apply for the fund, in which a board of volunteers will come together and decide on if the application will be funded!
