OYC Meeting Minutes – 18/05/22

WELCOME

The chairThe Youth Councillor who runs the meeting, heads up the organisation and has the casting vote. Or something to sit on but probably the first one on our site :-) More did an ice breaker.

STREET HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN

The youth councillors had to write out a plan on what their ideas for campaigns are, and the aims of it alongside who would be involved, alongside how the campaign would be successful. All views were taken into account for a final view.

PRIORITIES VIDEOS

The communications officer (Prem) and priorities officer (Tom) have made an idea of priorities videos, utilising the YouTube channel especially, with short videos conveying issues and showing everyone what we are doing internally. Tom (who was present in the meeting) wanted people to sign up. A few people put their names down.

GMYCA UPDATES

This agenda item was cancelled, due to neither of the GMYCAGreater Manchester Youth Combined Authority More representatives being present.
