Welcome
Todays meeting will be slightly different. The first half will be some training, a consultationConsultation is when members of an organisation gather information/feedback from members of the public or group on a project or scheme. More and then back to normal business.

Leadership Training
Chris facilitated a workshop on safe working practices and how to be a responsible youth leader.
Oldham’s Inclusion Policy
Jodie then talked to us. She asked Youth councillors whether they had come up for a name for the Oldham’s inclusion policy. IncluYOUsion was suggested. A name was also needed for the refugee project – DynaMix. Youth councillors were asked if they were free on Thursday 23rd march for a careers fair.
Youth Work Standards
Jodie told Youth councillors that staff appraisals were coming up, and what she wanted to develop was core standards for youth workers, she wanted to know what makes a youth worker good – She told youth councillors to suggest ideas.

Youth councillors were asked to bring in pictures for the hidden histories project.
