Oldham Pledge

Suzy Ashworth came to update the OYC about the Oldham Pledge.  The passports have been printed and at this moment its being piloted in several schools across Oldham in year groups across all the key stages.  So far the feedback has been positive from schools.  Suzy asked if Youth Councillors would be happy piloting the passports too.  Jasmine and Khadija said they would but Suzy asked if they could talk with Ms Philips as Hathershaw (where they go to school) are one of the schools trailing the scheme with year 7.  It may be worth Hathershaw using someone outside those year groups though.  Adam (Collective Spirit), Katie (Waterhead) and Amber (Oldham College) also said they would trial the passport.

Generation Oldham

Chris spoke to the group asking those who have signed up to the Generation Oldham programme to please reply to any communication sent out.  He reminded the group that this is no longer a programme that the Youth Service provide so any one taking part must make sure they know when and where the trips are taking place.
