We have a Youth Assembly here at Barnet which is just in its infancy and I am working on a project to formalise the recruitment process so any guidance/best practice would be much appreciated. Thank you for your comment. Oldham Youth Councillors are aged between 11 and 21 so no he does not need to wait. We are holding Youth Council Elections in January next year and he can be candidate in those elections. We have sent you an email with a little more information.

Hi Samira, Youth Councillors are elected every 2 years, unfortunately though, you have just missed our elections in February. You can still get involved by attending the Youth Council Champions at the Civic Centre on a Thursday evening 6-8pm. For more information please email [email protected]
