Introductions as a new member joins the Children in Care Council.
Janine Connor came to speak to the young people about doing some training similar to NAAS for newly qualified social workers.
This training is where young people will role play 4 different scenarios and be recorded while doing so. Young people decided with Janine the four different scenarios and what they should entail.
Young people discussed this and everything has more or less been decided about the scenarios. Young people asked who would like to act and who would just like to observe instead.
Young people really excited to be part of this training and look forward to meeting with Janine again to discuss the training further.
