BeeWell:
BeeWell is a Greater Manchester-wide survey about young peoples’ health and well-being.
It was completed by many schools in Oldham, and we were given the results.
We have been given some money to complete a project for the borough based on these results.
We analysed the data and decided to do a project around why the results on life satisfaction in general were so low for women, and what we can do to fix that.
Suggestion boxes:
Suggestion boxes were made during priorities last week to be distributed in schools about what young people want to change in Oldham.
Chris asked for a few YCllrs to be in charge of each box in each school.
Events and trips:
2nd November – lads trip to watch the Rugby League has been extended to everyone.
9th November – those who have volunteered are given a trip to Alton Towers to thank them for their time.
8th December – Youthforia. Candidates who are standing in the Steering Group elections are given priority.
