CICC VOICE Meeting Minutes 27.04.21

Young people did some prep for the meeting as Elaine Devaney who is the Director of Social care attended the meeting. Young people went over what they have been up to and what they would like to speak to Elaine about.

Elaine joined the meeting, young people and staff did introductions and Elaine asked young people what they have been up to. Elaine spoke about the Early help service being launched in the community and local areas as a community approach. Young people discussed with Elaine what they had been doing recently meeting up in the park for a walk and picnic, working on the IRO review booklets, looking at what activities to do when restrictions ease and they discussed the current 16+ services. Young people spoke about the Mind of my own app and how it is working for them. Lots of different discussions with Elaine around all the different issues that affect young people in care.
