GM Care Leavers Meeting Update – Young person who attended the meeting updated the young people about the round-table meeting with GM Mayor Andy Burnham and what was discussed. Young person mentioned how well the meeting went and how the Care Leavers Guarantee is looking really good.
CICC Conference, Game Changer 2 – Young people asked who wants to attend the conference, young people asked what they would like to do after the conference. Young people put together an email to send to Patsy Burrows, Head of Service and Merlin Joseph, Director of Children’s Service to invite them to the conference.
Young Voices Halloween Party – Young people asked who is free and available to attend and help out with the younger group.
Corporate Parenting Development Day – Jodie came in the meeting to discuss how the corporate parenting development day will run. Young people spoke about being facilitators during main workshop. Young people to lead this day and then asked young people who is available to help out on the day. The finalising of the day to be done next meeting.
