Who we are

A Voice for Oldham's Children Looked After and Care Leavers

The Children in Care Council is split into three sub groups. Members of all three groups have the chance to get together with other young people in care to have the opportunity to talk and discuss what you think about the support and care you receive and how we can make things better for you and other looked after children and young people in Oldham. You take part in fun activities and go to different events involving other young people from care.

Children in Care Council

The Children in Care Council (CICC) is made up of young people who are either being looked after or who are care leavers. They meet every week to discuss issues that matter to those in care, and help to shape the services that are provided to our young people.
