CICC VOICE Meeting Minutes 20.10.10

Young people started the meeting catching up with everyone and staff informed young people of Lucy Simm guest attending.

Lucy simm who is the specialist nurse for children looked after came to speak to the young people. Young people spoke about the 3 different groups that come under CICC. Young people told Lucy what they do as a CICC and spoke about some of the latest consultations and projects. Lucy had some conversations with young people around health and health assessments. Lucy said she would like to attend CICC meeting regularly and asked young people if that would be okay. Lucy is hoping to use CICC as a means to consult with young people about lots of various topics and issues. Lucy was really interested in the Children’s champion scheme.

Nancy came in to speak to the young people about the IRO pledges. one of our young person suggested they would like to have a go at the template and asked if Samantha and Nancy could come to a further meeting.

Young people went through all the Care leavers week activities ready for next week.
