CICC Voice Visit to London Social Care Institute for Excellence
Two young people attended an event, run by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). This event was to look at ways to improve the mental health and emotional support for children and young people in care. The young people from Oldham, and other local authorities, took part in workshops to explore the different mediums that could be used to improve mental health and emotional support. Young people got involved in the art workshop and looked at how they felt about the support they receive, and what message they would like to convey.
It was a fantastic day, the young people participated really well and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
