Young Voices Castleshaw Activity Day

A Voice for Oldham's Children Looked After and Care Leavers

Young Voices Castleshaw Activity Day

Young Voices activity day took place on Thursday 31st May 2018, we had 13 young people take part in Kite making and Self-Esteem canvass making for the morning sessions. Young people enjoyed doing this as part of AQA accreditation units where they will get certificates for the activities they took part in.

In the afternoon young people went on a nature trail, we was very lucky to be able to meet some people who were digging for a house buried deep below so first stop was with them so see how the digging was going. Young people then marched on towards the stream where they got there hands and wellies messy trying to catch different beastly creatures. After catching lots of creatures and using their files to identify them which was very fun for some but not all! Young people went to fly their kites before the session finished.

Fantastic day with fantastic young people.

Some pictures from the day!

Thank you to all of you who attended.
