CICC Voice Meeting Minutes 08.03.18
Introductions
Jodie Barber came in and asked young people there views and opinions towards a present for someone who CICC work alongside who is leaving. shhhh.
Kirtsy came back with a mock up box for a Welcome to Care Pack, she went through the box and everything it had it and asked young people their opinions and views. Young people discussed the box and what more needs adding to it. Young people gave good feedback to Kirsty and then Kirsty is going to go back and come again to next meeting with all the additional things that young people asked for.
Regional meeting is on 10th March and there was a discussion about what the young people want to take to the meeting to share with other local authorities in North West.Young people wanted to take the Welcome to Care Pack that’s currently in process, Guide to Contact and London trip they have been involved in.
The CICC NorthWest Conference report has been published and sent to CICC, the young people read the report and disussed the recommendations and what they should/could do as a CICC. Young people discussed implenting the themes from the report to the Pledge and maybe looking at re-doing the pledge with the recommendations and changing it as they currently feel it is a bit out of date and needs re-vamping.
The meeting went really well thank you to Kirsty and all the young people for attending.
